On 5th and 6th of February the 7 founding members of “European Manufacturers of Autogenous Vaccines & Sera – EMAV e.V.” invited several manufacturers of autogenous vaccines and potentional candidates from several European countries to Hanover. At an extraordinary General Assembly BS-Immun GmbH, Vienna/Austria, represented by Astrid Weiss, Lab CALIER, Barcelona/Spain, Ceva-Biovac, represented by Alain Schrumpf, Angers/France, Poulpharm, represented by Maarten de Gussem, Izegem/Belgium, RB VAC autovaccine & vet laboratory, Zielona Gora/Poland and Ridgeway Biologicals Ltd., Compton/UK were elected as additional members of the association. “With this step EMAV was following the intention to represent almost all relevant producers of autogenous vaccines and sera in Europe and the broad spectrum of players dealing with this instrument for the prevention of infectious diseases for farm animals, companion as well as exotic animals”, Klaus-Peter Behr, Chair of the association, emphasised.
At the Hanover meeting the membership decided for the Corporate design and logo of the association, the place of administration in Munich and the core activities for 2019 too.
